Horsing Around

We took our grandsons horseback riding the other day and I got photos of everyone except me. I guess that is what happens when you are the photographer of the group. As you can see they really enjoyed the day and were ready to take the horses home with them by the time we were done.

A little bit of Macro

I have been working on some photos in macro for a challenge from Pioneer Woman's Flicker group.

This is not an easy task for me as I don't have a macro lens so I am working with what I have on my camera which is the close up setting.

This is a close up of my newly growing Hostas

Day 132 - Mediterranean Pinks

Photobucket

This is my favorite ground cover! Mediterranean pinks, they spread and keep blooming all summer long. To spread them you just shake some of the seeds into your hands and then plant them where you want them. It comes up every year, if you have a wall for it to cascade over it is beautiful.
